The Book

A Story Every Family Can Share

Told around a family dinner table, Jesus in My Heart walks children through what it means to know Jesus and follow Him — in language simple enough for the youngest readers, and meaningful enough for the grown-ups reading along.

Many parents and grandparents want to talk with the children they love about faith — but aren't always sure where to start, or how to explain something so important in words a child can understand.

Jesus in My Heart was written to make that moment easier. It's a gentle, story-driven way to open the conversation — and the included parent guide helps you continue it, with simple questions and ideas for talking it through together.

The Story Behind the Book

A Promise Kept, A Story Shared Around the World

For thirty years, this story lived within Kristen's family — until June, her mother, felt called to write it down, so parents everywhere could use it to explain salvation to their children. When her mother passed away, that calling became a promise to complete, and Jesus in My Heart is the fulfillment of it.

Since its first publication in 2011, the story has been embraced by families and children's ministries far beyond where it began — translated, culturally adapted, and shared with children in 13 countries.
